This Cookie Policy explains how Film Distribution Group (hereinafter also referred to as “we,” “us,” “our,” or “Group”) uses cookies and similar technologies on its websites and online services. It applies to all companies within the Group, including their respective websites, in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and elsewhere, where applicable.

When you arrive from an advertising platform, a click identifier is stored in a first-party cookie, and key events (such as viewing a film page) may be reported to the advertising platform concerned (Meta, TikTok, Google) directly from our servers; on pages that provide our cookie consent banner (for example film landing pages), this sharing follows the marketing-consent choice you make there. • Facilitate secure payment or other essential e-commerce functionalities.

Unless otherwise stated, we do not use cookies to directly identify you by name. However, certain cookies may collect device or network data (such as IP address) that could be considered personal data under applicable law.

5. LEGAL BASIS

Essential cookies are used because they are strictly necessary for the operation of our websites; they do not require consent. All other cookies (preference, analytics, marketing) are placed or read only with your consent, as required by the laws implementing the ePrivacy Directive in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. You can withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it (see Section 6). Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

If data is transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we ensure appropriate safeguards: for United States providers certified under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework (such as Google LLC), the European Commission’s adequacy decision applies; otherwise we use EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Cookies have varying lifespans. Session cookies expire when you close your browser; persistent cookies remain for the period shown in the table in Section 3 or until you delete them.
